Styles of Yoga I teach

Yin Yoga

A passive practice for all levels. Yin Yoga involves a variation of poses, seated & laying down, typically held for 3 to 5 minutes. This class is designed to help you unwind from a long day by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). Class ends with a lighthearted zen story or a short, relaxing meditation.

Forrest Flow Yoga

Light hearted, free flowing, & therapeutic. It's about connecting to your spirit through breath and movement (Vinyasa Flow Yoga), with a focus on releasing tension caused by stress stored in the muscle tissue (Forrest Yoga). Expect a strong emphasis on alignment and core strength. All levels welcome.

Myofascial Release Yoga

Great for posture correction, especially for those sitting at a desk. Yoga Tune Up® is a fitness therapy format built around the three P's – Pain, Posture and Performance. It helps eradicate pain, improve posture and enhance performance through a unique blend of yoga, Corrective Exercise, Self-Massage, and Breath Strategies. By helping to identify and target your "body blind spots" – areas that are most overused, underused, or misused – YTU heals damaged muscle, increases strength and establishes healthy movement patterns.
